Rainified - rain*i*fied adj [EDD “Inclined to rain, like rain”] Cf -ified  Likely to rain. 1918 DN 5.15 Martha’s Vineyard MA, Rainified. Rainy appearance of sky. “It’s looked kind o’ rainified all the morning.” So far as I know, limited to one individual, who is rather given to coinages. 1953 Randolph-Wilson Down in Holler 45 Ozarks, Speaking of the prospects of rain, a woman said to me, “It sure don’t look very rainified this evenin’.”

“Hey, does it look rainified out there?”

“We were going to grill out tonight, but it got all rainified.”

“Grab your umbrella. It’s another rainified day today.”
